J2 ENTERPRISES INTRODUCES HYAFLEX™, an oral hyaluronic acid specially formulated for small animals.  Hyaluronic Acid (HA) - for overall joint health and relief from arthritis, bursitis, hip dysplasia, osteochondrosis (OCD) and other degenerative problems with the shoulders, elbows and hocks.

KANSAS CITY, MO. - Studies are currently being conducted by veterinarians throughout the metro area to clinically substantiate what has already been proven by many pet owners who have been using HyaFlex™, to combat joint pain as well as other conditions in pets.

Over the years, doctors have proven the effectiveness of injected hyaluronan to combat various joint ailments in humans while veterinarians and trainers have proven the same results in equine and small animals.  However, treatment with injections affects only a specific area.  Oral solutions have recently become available by using a high molecular weight of hyaluronic acid.  Oral treatment results in relief throughout the body.  HyaFlex™ is sterile solution of premium grade HA.

Another common treatment for these types of ailments has been glucosamine which has had proven success, yet sometimes can take as long as six to eight weeks to show any results.  In contrast, HyaFlex™ has shown results as quickly as three to four days.  HyaFlex™ is also extremely cost-effective compared to other forms of treatment and has been proven safe with no reported side effects in humans, horses or small animals.

We tried the products on 12 dogs that varied in size from 10 to 86 pounds.  All the patients that were in this limited study were dogs that had radiographic verficiation, physical signs and symptoms of hip dysplasia or osteoarthritis.  All the patients’s activity levels were increased following administration of the product.  Six out of 12 showed excellent activity levels within 3 days of administration of HyaFlex.  Four out of 12 patients showed dramatic levels of jumping ability; two out of 12 showed moderate levels of activity after receiving HyaFlex.

Based on this limited study, I would conclude that in my professional opinion, HyaFlex is a product that I would recommend to my clients for use in their pets with hip dysplasia and/or osteoarthritis. In fact,  I’m afraid to take my own dogs off HyaFlex.

Sincerely,

William C. Jones D.V.M
